In order to raise children's awareness of the importance of personal hygiene and its impact on health among the pupils of the 19th kindergarten of the region, the Akdepe etrap representative of the NRCST and volunteers of the ‘’Gunesh’’ Youth Center conducted a master class on the topic "Cleanliness, personal hygiene". The lesson began with an interactive discussion where the children shared their knowledge about hygiene. Then the basic principles of personal hygiene were mentioned, namely: frequent hand washing with soap, brushing teeth twice a day, keeping clothes and shoes clean, the importance of personal hygiene, proper nutrition and its impact on health. The children tried to demonstrate proper hand washing and teeth brushing. They also had the opportunity to test their knowledge and get useful tips by taking part in a hygiene quiz. The children showed great interest in this topic and actively participated, exchanging questions and answers.
We hope that such events will greatly help children form healthy habits, increase responsibility for their health, and strengthen disease prevention measures.
