As part of the implementation of the Joint Work Plan between the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) for 2025, as well as in accordance with the Joint Program Document between UNICEF and the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan "Strengthening local and national capacities of emergency preparedness for earthquakes and in Central Asia." The main goal of the seminars was to strengthen the preparedness of schools and local communities for possible emergencies and to improve knowledge of first aid. The workshops conducted by UNICEF national consultant with support of the organization’s specialist in emergencies, climate change and disaster risk reduction in collaboration with representatives Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan. These events have become an important contribution to the formation of a culture of security and sustainability among schoolchildren and local communities in the region.
