On February 20–21, 2025, a working visit of the NRCST’s project coordinator and coordinator’s assistant of the project "Exit of the National Tuberculosis Program of Turkmenistan from Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria." to the branch of the NRCST in the Dashoguz velayat, where they monitored patients’ management, reporting, and planning. The main purpose of the business trip was to identify existing problems, analysis of the current situation and preparation of proposals for improvements among TB patients. The main stages of evaluation included the analysis of reporting systems for working with TB patients, holding meetings with them to identify and study their needs and problems. The monitoring made the possibility to obtain accurate data on the current work with TB patients in the Dashoguz velayat. The obtained recommendations will help to improve the quality of medical care, improve the effectiveness of treatment and preventive measures, as well as to contribute to the future project development.
