The National Red Crescent society of Turkmenistan and the public organization "Yash Tebigatchy" together with the Delegation of the European Union in Ashgabat organized a festive event in honor of Earth Day on April 22 in the capital's park.

Designed to encourage people to be more attentive to the fragile and vulnerable environment on planet Earth, this unusual holiday has become a cultural and environmental action aimed at attracting public attention to the protection of the natural resources of our planet and shaping people's daily eco-habits.

On this day, the ”Ashgabat” park was divided into several active zones, where trees were planted, workshops on waste processing, eco-games and quizzes were organized. Here one could reveal their talents in drawing and try their hand at pottery.
