Specialists from the Dashoguz velayat branch of the Nature Protection Society of Turkmenistan held an educational meeting for children vacationing at the "Bagtyýar Nesil" Children's Health and Recreation Center in Dashoguz city, focusing on the medicinal plants native to Turkmenistan and their importance for human health. During the meeting, the specialists spoke in detail about the healing properties of various medicinal plants growing in the country and the role they play in folk medicine and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle. Particular emphasis was placed on the scientific information presented in the esteemed Arkadag’s valuable works dedicated to medicinal plants, as well as his ideas regarding the preservation of national heritage and the fostering of a love for nature among the younger generation. The children listened with great interest to the engaging information about the benefits of medicinal plants, the importance of preserving them, and the need to treat our natural resources with care. Such events help to raise the ecological awareness of the younger generation, promote healthy lifestyles, and strengthen respect for our national values.
