In August 2026, events dedicated to the upcoming 35th Anniversary of Turkmenistan's glorious Independence were held at the “Serbi” kindergarten in Balkanabat, at a garment factory in the Bereket district, and in the Turkmenbashi and Etrek districts. Speakers provided a detailed account of the activities and key areas of work of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan and provided comprehensive recommendations for ensuring safety in hot weather conditions caused by climate change. Furthermore, the meetings participants discussed significant achievements for the years of independence and preparations for the upcoming meeting of the People's Council (Halk Maslahaty), with particular attention paid to measures aimed at improving the quality of life and ensuring future prosperity.
