By tradition, the whole of April in Turkmenistan is dedicated to the celebration of World Health Day. Numerous sports and educational events are organised daily throughout the country to promote a healthy lifestyle.

The program of events organised by employees and volunteers of the branch of the National Red Crescent society of the Balkan velayat. One of them took place on the 7th of April in the preschool N°23. It is very important to instill a love for sports from early childhood in order to get a generation healthy in spirit and body in the future.

The big and bright holiday began with morning exercises. Then the children competed with great enthusiasm in the relay race and bicycle “races” and other sports competitions. The kids were “charged” with the energy of good mood and their happy faces became the best reward for adults!
