Balkan velayat's Local History Museum became the venue for the festive event dedicated to the 97th anniversary of the NRCST. Students of educational institutions of  Balkanabat city, school teachers and other guests were invited to the celebration.
In the event, employees of the Balkan branch of the NRCST spoke about the main activities of the society, which was founded on March 26, 1926.  It was also noted that for the last 97 years, employees and volunteers have been conducting their extensive activities, giving people their warmth and care.  After the speech, the participants of the event expressed a lot of touching wishes, both to the National Red Crescent society of Turkmenistan and its employees. After, a festive concert was held, the program of which included performances of folk songs and poetic works accompanied  by the melodies of the dutar - the Turkmen national instrument.  At the end of the concert, the participants supported the artists with thunderous applause.
