On April 8, 2025, a comprehensive training event was held at Secondary school No. 15 in the city of Balkanabad, aimed at preparing for actions in emergency situations and natural disasters, as well as providing first aid in emergency situations. The organizers were volunteers from the Alada Youth Center and employees of the Balkan Velayat branch of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan with the assistance of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, health authorities and the fire service of the city of Balkanabad.

The following areas were worked out as part of the exercises:

evacuation of students and school staff in case of fire.

providing first aid to victims.

familiarization with the basic rules of conduct in emergency situations and natural disasters.

teaching staff training in emergency situations.

Special attention was paid to practical skills and coordination between different services. Representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and Fire Safety demonstrated the evacuation algorithm to students and teachers and also talked about ways to prevent panic in case of danger.

Holding such events plays an important role in shaping a safety culture among the younger generation, as well as in increasing the level of preparedness of educational institutions for possible emergencies.
