The meeting with representatives of the Global Fund, who arrived from the GF headquarters in Geneva to fight AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria, was held at the central office of the National Red Crescent society of  Turkmenistan.  The representatives were portfolio manager Valeria Grishechkina, international experts Svetlana Nidzevska, Natalie Manich, Nino Mdivani and Hanna Bolokhoves.

 During the meeting, NRCST specialists and international experts considered the ways of implementation of the joint project ,which is funded by the Global Fund, in the field of combating the spread, prevention and treatment of tuberculosis.  One of the participants in the joint project, which has been operating since 2010, along with the Ministry of  Health and Medical Industry of  Turkmenistan, UNDP and others, is the National Red Crescent society of  Turkmenistan, which is a sub-recipient of the Global Fund grant and a partner of the Ministry of Health in the implementation of the project.
