On December 25 of this year, a working meeting was held at the central office of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat with the participation of specialists from the Ministries of Defense, Health, Education, Internal Affairs, Labor and Civil Defense of Turkmenistan and the Main Archival Department under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss strategic approaches to the effective restoration of family relations in emergency situations and natural disasters by improving interagency cooperation and coordination.

The main topic is the impact of natural disasters on the population. Loss of family communication. Issues such as the duties and responsibilities of governing bodies were discussed.

Despite the fact that the first work meeting was held in this area of the NRCST, a number of questions and answers were exchanged and it was agreed that such meetings  are valuable.
