On June 19, 2025, the Healthcare and Social support department specialists of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan held an educational seminar at the “Abadan Haly” open joint-stock company in Ashgabat. The event was aimed at raising the awareness of the company's employees about tuberculosis, its symptoms, ways of transmission and methods of prevention. The project specialist spoke about the importance of early detection of the disease, timely medical examination care and following doctors' prescriptions during treatment. They also provided explanations on the stigma associated with tuberculosis and the role of society in supporting TB patients. The meeting was held in the format of a lively dialogue: the participants actively asked questions, shared opinions and expressed gratitude for the useful information. At the end of the event, information materials were distributed.
