From 3 to 5 November 2025, the XXII General Meeting of the European Red Cross and Red Crescent Network on AIDS/HIV, Hepatitis, Tuberculosis, and Substance Abuse (ERNA) will take place in Athens, Greece. The event will be hosted by the Hellenic Red Cross in partnership with the Ministry of Health of Greece and the City of Athens.

Meeting will hold under the theme “Strengthening Community Health Responses: AIDS/HIV, Hepatitis, TB and Substance Abuse” and will bring together representatives of Red Cross and Red Crescent National Societies, International organizations, and health authorities from across Europe and Central Asia.

The discussions will focus on the development of the new ERNA Strategy 2026–2035, the exchange of best practices, and the strengthening of partnerships to enhance community health and support for vulnerable populations.

The National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan will be represented by a delegation that will take part in the working sessions and experience-sharing on prevention and care related to AIDS/HIV, tuberculosis, and other socially significant diseases.
