Today, October 1st, marks the International Day of Older Persons—a day celebrating wisdom, experience, and kindness. To mark the occasion, staff and volunteers from the Balkan Velayat branch of the National Red Crescent Society (in the city of Turkmenbashi) organized a festive event titled "A Link Between Generations" for the elderly at the "Saher" café in Turkmenbashi.

Staff from the local social service center for the elderly and persons with disabilities, as well as employees from the Palace of Culture and Sports of the Turkmenbashi Oil Processing Complex, assisted in preparing for the celebration.

The event featured a wide variety of contests, with prizes awarded to the participants afterward. There was plenty of music and heartfelt well-wishes. All the attendees were delighted and expressed their sincere gratitude to the Red Crescent volunteers and staff for the opportunity to celebrate the occasion.
