On October 1, 2025, volunteers of the Youth Center “Ýelken” in the city of Turkmenbashy organized a charity event dedicated to the International Day of Older Persons.

The volunteers prepared a festive concert where they demonstrated their talents and skills: they sang songs, played musical instruments, recited poems, danced, and delighted the audience with creative performances.

At the end of the event, all elderly residents of the nursing home in Turkmenbashy were presented with memorable gifts. These gifts were prepared and purchased by the volunteers themselves, who raised the necessary funds through fundraising activities.

The event brought together 40 elderly people and 10 volunteers, who gave the participants a sense of celebration, care, and attention.

This initiative became a vivid example of good deeds and respect for the older generation, as well as highlighted the importance of youth participation in charitable activities.
