On the occasion of October 1 — the International Day of Older Persons, festive celebrations were widely held in various parts of our country. To mark this event, the Dashoguz regional branch of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan, together with the regional administration and other public organizations, congratulated the respected elders and dear mothers of the region by organizing a solemn event in their honor. During the celebration, words of gratitude were expressed to the esteemed elders and beloved mothers.
Their special role in strengthening the unity of our society and in educating the younger generation was particularly noted. It was also emphasized that young people should take example from the elders and pass on our national values to future generations. Such events are clear evidence of the profound respect shown toward the elderly, their great role in life, and the spiritual strength of our society.
