The National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan, comprising thousands of members and volunteers, actively addresses current issues and assists the state. The National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan regularly organizes practical educational consultations and awareness campaigns among the population, actively contributing to the implementation of programs initiated by the Esteemed President in the field of public health in the permanently Neutral State of Turkmenistan. It provides social support, fosters youth education in the spirit of national traditions, and promotes humanitarian values.

December 5th  marks International Volunteer Day. The Lebap Regional Branch of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan annually recognizes volunteers willing to engage in humanitarian activities by organizing a festive gathering and presenting commemorative gifts.

In the Year of "The Ocean of Wisdom – Magtymguly Pyragy," on December 5th , a celebration involving thirty volunteers featured a “Brain Ring” event. Topics addressed during the event included "International Humanitarian Law," "Principles of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement," "Emergency Preparedness," "Environmental Sustainability," and "Basic First Aid." Attendees shared ideas regarding planned future activities.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, twenty-five active volunteers were presented with incentive gifts in recognition of their contributions throughout the year.
