A high-level educational and practical event was held by the regional branch of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan, the Balkan Velayat branch, dedicated to World First Aid Day. The participants noted that the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan conducts multifaceted work among the population. One of the main directions will be to raise public awareness by teaching first aid skills. After that, the participants got acquainted with such emergency situations as earthquakes, fires, floods, car accidents. Through group work, participants learned about the rules of conduct in Emergency situations, how to provide first aid, how to properly perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation, how to stop bleeding, bandage wounds, how to provide proper care for burns and electrical injuries. The practical work carried out during the event was very effective for the participants.
