A training seminar was held on the topic of "Eliminating emergency situations that may arise in the Lebap velayat in the event of an urgent mass influx of people into Turkmenistan, and providing them with temporary protection." In order to prepare and organize comprehensive exercises in the Lebap velayat in accordance with the “Work Plan of the State Commission for Emergency Situations of Turkmenistan for 2026”, approved by the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan No. 1630 dated December 28, 2025 on the basis of Order No. 13B dated January 28, 2026 “On local executive authorities”, the Lebap branch of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan, as well as members of the regional committee for the prevention of emergency situations, together with the Lebap department of civil defense and rescue, the Lebap regional sanitary and epidemiological service, the Lebap regional department of the migration service of Turkmenistan, the Lebap regional police department, the Lebap regional department of health, the Lebap regional department of road facilities, as well as the Lebap regional association of buyers' societies, exercises were held under the title “Emergency Management” "Situations that may arise in the Lebap Velayat." Lebap Velayat in connection with the provision of temporary protection to the population in the event of an urgent mass influx of people into Turkmenistan" in the Farap district.
During the exercise, which involved 135 participants, large-scale measures were taken to prepare the population for emergencies, natural disasters, and man-made incidents, evacuate the population to an organized safe zone, promptly inform the population, increase its preparedness, teach rules of conduct in such situations, and provide first aid.
The staff and enthusiastic volunteers of the Lebap Velayat branch of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan once again demonstrated the importance of protecting human rights in our country by demonstrating their training skills.
