On May 03, 2017 a number of events dedicated to the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Day were conducted by the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan. In particular, a friendly football match between NRCST’s volunteers and staff was held in order to promote sports and healthy living. Besides, a mass information campaign was conducted in shopping and entertainment center «Berkarar» in order to raise awareness among the citizens of the capital on the International Movement, main areas and principles of work of National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan. NRCST’s volunteers and staff members conducted interactive quiz. More than 500 persons were involved in it. Those who gave correct answers received keepsakes and souvenirs, and those who gave wrong answers received information materials with the information on International Movement and NRCST’s activities.
