On March 16, 2026, a meeting was held in the military medical department of Turkmenabat with the staff of the Lebap region of the Turkmenistan National Red Crescent Society, together with soldiers and officers serving in this department.At the meeting with the officers and soldiers, the International Humanitarian Law Specialist of the Lebap region of the Turkmenistan National Red Crescent Society explained what the Turkmenistan National Red Crescent Society is, how the National Society works, who Henri Dunant is, and how our society was created.A specialist from the Health and Social Security Department of the Lebap region of the Turkmenistan National Red Crescent Society explained the humanitarian direction of our society and showed the basics of providing first aid trining. The officers and soldiers showed great interest in this meeting, asked many questions, and requested booklets and brochures. The officers of the military department asked to hold similar meetings to broaden the horizons of the soldiers.
