The training session organized by the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan (NRCST) in November was successfully concluded. The event took place in the Awaza tourist zone of the Balkan province and aimed to enhance staff qualifications and teach first aid skills. It was conducted under the leadership of experienced trainers from NRCST central office and regional branches.
The training lasted five days, involving 23 participants, including trainers, instructors and volunteers. A representative from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Muradjon Soliyev, also attended, sharing self-protection guidelines for emergency situations.
The program covered various topics. Participants learned adult teaching methods, first psychological support, and the specifics of first aid provision. Additionally, they were trained in the requirements for instructors and trainers, preparing presentations, using flipcharts, brainstorming, and implementing game-based methodologies.
During the session, participants presented reports on first aid activities planned for 2024. As a result, the NRCST successfully trained skilled instructors and trainers. Such initiatives will contribute to the society's increased efficiency in the future.
