On December 3, the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan jointly with the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey organized a festive event dedicated to the International Day of the Disabled at the Turkish Cultural Center. Children with disabilities and their parents were invited to the celebration.
Welcoming the children and their parents, Mr. Ambassador Togan Oral expressed his gratitude for accepting the invitation. To motivate the children, athlete Annamukhammet Orazmuradov, a participant in the Paralympic Games (Iran, Tehran 1999, Alma Ata Kazakhstan 2002, Uzbekistan, Tashkent 2005, Birmingham England 2006), winner of four gold and five silver medals in such sports as swimming, table tennis, athletics, barbell squat, was invited as a speaker.
For the "culprits" of the celebration, the staff, volunteers and interns of the NRCST organized a master class on creating crafts from cones for the New Year, everyone was given drawings in the style of aquagrim, balloons were given inside which there were good wishes that each child took with them.
The concert part of the program consisted of performances by NRCST volunteers, who performed musical works on the piano and violin. In turn, the children read poetry and danced, receiving toys by age, previously collected by the campaign. The event ended with rhythmic music and dancing.
In the end , the parents expressed their gratitude to the organizers of the event.
