In the military unit  located in the city of Turkmenabat, in accordance with the main action plan for 2026, a competition was held among conscripts on the topic of “Preparation for emergencies and skills of providing initial first aid from a doctor”. The competition was attended by relevant specialists from the Health and Social Security Unit and the Emergency Management Unit of the Lebap regional branch of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan, who participated as judges, and competed in the following areas: ways to provide first aid to a person who has suffered an injury during emergencies, proper wearing of protective clothing against poisonous gases, as well as six conditions for the conduct of military personnel.  In the case of an accident involving the use of mannequins, splints, and bandages, practical methods of using what is at hand in the event of a medical emergency were demonstrated before the arrival of doctors. During the competition, the knowledge of conscripts was tested by means of questionnaires on the subjects they performed. Knowing the correct ways to provide assistance aimed at saving a person's life and preserving his health increases personal responsibility and confidence in your abilities.
