On November 18-21, 2025, representatives from the Swiss Red Crescent, the Kyrgyz Red Crescent (Nurlan Derbishaliyev, Asel Kalmagambetova), and the Kazakhstan Red Crescent (Nurila) visited the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan (RCNST) to monitor and evaluate the project "Development of Volunteering in Turkmenistan."

During the visit, the delegation met with volunteers from two volunteer centers: VC "Jeyhun" in Ashgabat and VC "Alada" in Balkanabat, Balkan province. The volunteers gave a detailed account of their activities within the RCNST to the guests, including presentations and video clips about social activities for the elderly and people with disabilities, fundraising, educational initiatives, participation in national and international events, environmental campaigns, and more.

At the end of the visit, the results of the project evaluation were summarized. The participants noted the progress in the development of volunteering in Turkmenistan, the successful participation of our volunteers in the activities, their creativity, and initiative. Furthermore, future plans for the further promotion of volunteering within the RCNST were discussed.
