On 10 September 2025, a delegation of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) as well as the IAEA Representative in Turkmenistan, visited the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan. During the visit, a meeting was held with the leadership and staff of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan. The parties discussed areas of cooperation, exchanged information on current activities, and explored opportunities for collaboration in the fields of healthcare and humanitarian support for the sensitive population. The visit marked an important step in strengthening the partnership and expanding cooperation between the  International Atomic Energy Agency and the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan.
