In December of this year, as part of the project "Strengthening Local and National Capacities in Central Asia to Ensure Preparedness for Emergency Situations with High Risks of Earthquakes and Natural Disasters," the Ahal Regional Branch of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan conducted training events for three local committees composed of entrepreneurs.

Two events were held in Tejen District, and one in Ak Bugday District. The National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan provided committee members with training sessions on emergency response protocols, first aid skills, risk and vulnerability assessments related to climate change and natural disasters. Based on identified needs, the capabilities of local committee members and volunteers were enhanced.

As a result, the events contributed to improving the knowledge of local entrepreneurs.
