14.04.2025: Competition of young firefighters.

In the year declared the "Year of International Peace and Trust", as part of the mass physical culture, sports and cultural events to promote a healthy lifestyle "Health and Happiness" held in our country from April 1 to 30 in honor of World Health Day, fire-fighting and practical exercises were held at the outdoor training ground of sports school No. 14 in the city of Turkmenabat. sports competitions among teams of young firefighters, consisting of school students, organized by the Fire Safety Department of the Lebap Velayat Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan. In accordance with paragraph 8 of the Law of Turkmenistan "On Fire Safety" and on the basis of the Order of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan dated March 1, 2024 No. 37, students of the Kerky, Koytendag, Khalach, Khojambaz, Danevsky, Darganatinsky and Chardzhevsky etraps of the velayat demonstrated their skills under the guidance of teachers and competed in performances prepared in this area, strictly observing fire safety regulations. The vivid performances of the firefighters, who performed their duties with great skill, were appreciated by representatives of the Fire Safety Department of the Lebap Velayat Police Department, the Lebap Velayat Union of Trade Unions and the Velayat Council of the Makhtumkuli Youth Organization of Turkmenistan, as well as the Velayat branch of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan, who congratulated the winners of the competition on their victory. The first place was taken by the young fire brigades of the Danevsky district, the second place by the Sayatsky district, and the third place by the Kerkinsky district. Valuable gifts were presented by the Lebap Velayat Association of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan, the Lebap Velayat Council of the Makhtumkuli Youth Organization of Turkmenistan and the Lebap Velayat branch of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan.истана.

THE FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES

– Humanity

The International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, born of a desire to bring assistance
without discrimination to the wounded on the battlefield, endeavours, in its international and
national capacity, to prevent and alleviate human suffering wherever it may be found. Its purpose
is to protect life and health and to ensure respect for the human being. It promotes mutual
understanding, friendship, cooperation and lasting peace amongst all peoples.

– Impartiality

It makes no discrimination as to nationality, race, religious beliefs, class or political opinions. It
endeavors to relieve the suffering of individuals, being guided solely by their needs, and to give
priority to the most urgent cases of distress.

– Neutrality

In order to continue to enjoy the confidence of all, the Movement may not take sides in hostilities or
engage at any time in controversies of a political, racial, religious or ideological nature.

– Independence

The Movement is independent. The National Societies, while auxiliaries in the humanitarian services
of their governments and subject to the laws of their respective countries, must always maintain
their autonomy so that they may be able at all times to act in accordance with the principles of the
Movement.

– Voluntary service

It is a voluntary relief movement not prompted in any manner by desire for gain.

– Unity

There can be only one Red Cross or one Red Crescent Society in any one country. It must be open
to all. It must carry on its humanitarian work throughout its territory.

– Universality

The International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, in which all Societies have equal status
and share equal responsibilities and duties in helping each other, is worldwide.
