Awareness-raising activities titled “Water safety — a key condition for children’s healthy recreation” were held in the city of Dashoguz.

Specialists from the Dashoguz regional branch of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan held an educational event dedicated to preventing drowning among children vacationing at the "Happy Generation" children's health and recreation center in Dashoguz.

During the event, the specialists provided detailed explanations regarding water safety rules, essential requirements for swimming, and proper conduct in both open and indoor swimming pools. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of swimming only in designated areas, strictly following the instructions of coaches and lifeguards, and maintaining order without engaging in dangerous behavior toward one another. The goal of the event was to raise the children's awareness of potential water-related hazards, foster safety habits, and help prevent accidents during the summer holiday season.
