Technical training conducted in the Shabat district of the Dashoguz velayat to prepare for resolving the situation

In accordance with the work plan of the State Commission of Turkmenistan for Emergency Situations for 2025, the Dashoguz velayat branch of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan jointly with the Civil Defense Department held a comprehensive training session in Shabat etrap. The training event held under the title: “Organization of preparation and management in possible emergency situations arising as a result of rising water levels in rivers flowing through the country, as well as due to the formation of rain and flood waters in reservoirs.” During the training, actions for organized evacuation of population and material assets to safe zones, as well as the placement of evacuees worked out. The skills of regional evacuation and reception groups were improved, and practical training on their coordinated interaction successfully conducted. Such events help to increase level of preparedness for emergency, strengthen interaction between relevant structures and take effective measures against natural disasters and other threats.
