On October 3, 2024, the staff of the Dashoguz regional branch of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan, together with representatives of public organizations in the region, organized festive gatherings with honorary elders and beloved mothers in the assembly hall of the regional khyakimlik to celebrate the International Day of Older People, proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly.

During the festive event, volunteers from the regional branch and artists from cultural center musical groups have performed. At the end of the celebration, honorary elders and beloved mothers were presented with commemorative gifts from the regional department and public organizations.
