The humanitarian work carried out by the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan is inextricably linked to the life of our people and makes a significant contribution to health care, social welfare, education, and the upbringing of youth in the spirit of humanity. Humanity is one of the moral principles that our ancestors have followed.
In our country, which has become a country of health and spirituality thanks to the tireless efforts of our hero Serdar Arkadagly, great work is currently being done to protect the health of our citizens and ensure their adherence to healthy lifestyles. Spiritual and physical health are one of the main values in human life. On June 11-12, responsible officials of the Lebap regional branch of the Red Crescent National Society of Turkmenistan held a two-day training course on “Teaching the rules of providing first aid from a doctor” with the participation of employees of the Rescue and Fire Safety Department of the Turkmenabat International Airport. Regardless of age, the audience was comprehensively taught through presentations and experiences how to provide first aid to a victim of fractures, suffocation, poisoning, burns, venomous snake bites, insect or animal bites, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and electric shock. At the beginning of the course, the knowledge of the trainees was tested through questionnaires on the above-mentioned topics. Each situation encountered in residential buildings and in all institutions and organizations, regardless of their type, was discussed separately, and methods for the appropriate and correct use of available items were demonstrated in the event that medical resources were not found before the arrival of doctors. It was emphasized that it is the duty of each of us to know the correct ways to provide assistance aimed at saving a person's life and preserving his health. The health of each of us is the health of our society, and the health of society is the well-being and wealth of our state.
