On August 3, 2026, the office of the Lebap Velayat Branch of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan hosted an educational event under the project "Strengthening Local and National Capacities for Emergency Preparedness and Response" — a joint initiative of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).

The event brought together staff from the Lebap Velayat Branch of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan and the Lebap Velayat Education Department. During the event, a UNICEF representative presented on "Emergency Preparedness Measures" and "Green School" to educators and volunteers. As part of the training, participants broke into groups to share ideas on emergency actions and necessary preparedness measures.
