On December 4, 2025, a competition titled "Emergency Situations Contest" was held at the building of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan (NRCST), located in the Choganly residential complex.

Organized by the Disaster Management Department of the NRCST, the event aimed to enhance the volunteers' ability to make swift and accurate decisions in various crisis scenarios. The competition followed a team-based format, with each group consisting of 4–5 young volunteers.

The contest was divided into four key stages, where participants demonstrated both their theoretical knowledge and practical field skills:

Stage 1 – Family Preparedness: Volunteers presented strategies and action plans for emergency preparation at the household level.

Stage 2 – Navigation and Evacuation: Teams competed in navigating through specific coordinates and executing efficient evacuation procedures to safe zones.

Stage 3 – Physical Fitness: This stage tested the endurance, speed, and overall physical resilience of the participants.

Stage 4 – Knowledge and Creativity: Volunteers answered technical questions regarding emergency management and showcased innovative approaches to problem-solving.

Following an engaging and highly competitive series of challenges, the "Yolbars" (Lions) team emerged as the overall winner, achieving top scores across all categories.

NRCST representatives emphasized that such initiatives not only improve the physical and theoretical readiness of volunteers but also foster a spirit of unity and effective teamwork. The event concluded with an award ceremony where winners and active participants were presented with commemorative gifts.
